  1. Introduction
    These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the North American Certification Group (NACG) platform, services, certification and verification programs. By accessing this website or applying for certification or verification, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

    North American Certification Group reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

  1. Scope of Services
    North American Certification Group provides:
    • Halal Certification services
    • Vegan Certification services
    • Venue Verification services
    • Related standards, guidance, and support services

      Certification and verification are issued only for approved scopes and do not imply blanket approval of an entire business or all of its products or services.

  1. Certification & Verification Decisions
    All certification and verification decisions are made at the sole discretion of North American Certification Group based on submitted documentation, assessments, audits (where applicable), and compliance with applicable standards. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval.
  2. Applicant Responsibilities
    Applicants are responsible for: Providing accurate, complete, and truthful information, Maintaining compliance throughout the certification term, Notifying North American Certification Group of material changes affecting compliance, Misrepresentation or failure to disclose relevant information may result in denial, suspension, or revocation.
  3. Use of Certification Marks & Seals
    Certification marks, seals, logos, and related identifiers: remain the intellectual property of North American Certification Group, may only be used by approved entities within the granted scope, and must follow official seal usage guidelines. Unauthorized, misleading, or improper use is prohibited and may result in enforcement action.
  4. Term, Renewal & Revocation
    Certifications and verifications are issued for a defined term (typically 12 months) and require renewal. North American Certification Group reserves the right to: suspend or revoke certification for non-compliance, require corrective actions or conduct reassessments or audits as deemed necessary.
  5. Electronic and Operational Communications
    Vendor acknowledges and agrees that North American Certification Group may communicate with Vendor electronically, including via email, secure platform notifications, and other digital means, for purposes necessary to administer certification, verification, inspection, compliance monitoring, audits, renewals, corrective actions, and related administrative matters. Vendor agrees that such electronic communications constitute written notice where required by law.
  6. Fees & Payments
    Fees are charged for certification, verification, and related services. Fees are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing.
  7. No Warranty or Guarantee
    North American Certification Group does not warrant: commercial success, consumer acceptance, regulatory approval beyond the scope of certification. Vendors remain solely responsible for regulatory compliance. Certification reflects compliance with NACG standards only at the time of assessment. NACG certification does not guarantee compliance with all laws. Certification is not legal advice.
  1. Limitation of Liability
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, North American Certification Group shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services, website, or certification outcomes. NACG’s total liability shall not exceed fees paid by Vendor in the prior 12 months.
  2. Third-Party Reliance
    Certification and verification are issued for informational and compliance purposes. Third parties rely on such certifications at their own discretion.
  3. Confidentiality
    Information submitted by applicants is treated as confidential and used solely for certification and verification purposes, subject to applicable legal requirements.
  4. Website Use & Access
    Access to certain areas of the platform may require registration or authorization. North American Certification Group may restrict or terminate access at any time.
  5. Governing Law
    These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
