Certification Seal Usage Guidelines:
These Seal Usage Guidelines govern the use of all certification seals and certificates issued by North American Certification Group (“NACG”).

1.Permitted Use
Certified vendors may use NACG certification seals and certificates ONLY:  For approved products, facilities, or services during the valid certification period In unchanged, NACG-approved formats.

Permitted placements include:  Product packaging and labels, Websites and digital marketing, Menus, signage, and promotional materials.

2.Prohibited Use
Vendors may not:  Alter, modify, recolor, or distort any seal, Use seals after certification expires or is revoked, Use seals for uncertified products, locations, or services, Imply NACG endorsement beyond the scope of certification, or Transfer seals to another entity or location.

3.Certification Claims
All certification claims must be:  Truthful and accurate, Limited to the certified scope, Consistent with NACG program descriptions
Examples of acceptable claims:

“Halal Certified by North American Certification Group”

“Vegan Certified – NAcertify”

4.Digital Use
Seals may be used on websites and social media only while certification is active.
Seals must not link to misleading or unrelated content. NACG reserves the right to request corrections or removal. NACG seals have serial identifiers and automatically update in real time.

5.Monitoring & Enforcement
NACG may monitor seal usage at any time. Improper use may result in:  Written notice and correction request, Suspension or revocation of certification, or Legal or enforcement action if necessary.

6.Upon Expiration or Termination
Upon expiration, suspension, revocation, or termination:

All use of NACG seals and certification claims must stop immediately.

Seals must be removed from packaging, websites, and marketing materials.
